October Month of Giving Update!
The October Month of Giving is here, and we have raised over $7000 of our goal! We are well on our way to being able to carry out our budget for the year, which includes dances, prom, cultural events, competition team support, teacher appreciation, and so much more! When you donate, the entire community benefits. The Family Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all donations to us are tax-deductible and eligible for corporate matching. Our mission is to provide More and Better to the Willows Prep community, and your gift of any size makes this happen. Curious about our budget? Click here to see how we spend our money. Questions? Email Brooke Stockmann fundraising@willowsprepfamily.org.
Snow Sports Bus 2027
Planning is underway for the ski and snowboard bus to Stevens Pass for 6 dates in January/February! We need to know by next week, Tuesday 10/27 if your student is interested in registering; the bus only runs if we get at least 30 students. Missed the meeting? See the Teams recording here. Interested? Fill out this form. Questions? Email skibus@willowsprep.com. See you on the slopes!
Spooktacular!
Spooktacular is approaching on the afternoon of Thursday, October 29th! We need a number of parent volunteers for this activity to run fun game stations and hand out prizes and to provide fun treats. Please see this sign up to help with this amazing afternoon!
Diwali Cultural Celebration
Our first parent-sponsored cultural celebration of the year is Diwali! This year’s celebration is set for Friday, November 6th. Parent volunteers are in charge of organizing the event, including any food, decorations, and other celebratory aspects. Shruti Agarwal and Nilay Goyal have started a WhatsApp group for planning, please contact Shruti at bankingtreasurer@willowsprepfamily.org to be added, or respond to the invite on WhatsApp!
Popcorn Wednesdays
On Wednesdays, parents volunteer to make popcorn that can be purchased as a fun snack after school on Wednesdays. You can purchase a 10 bags for $10 popcorn pass for your student here; day-of purchases are $2/bag, cash only, so pre-purchasing is a big savings.
We need more parent volunteers to help with this activity, no experience necessary! Please sign up here to be a Popcorn Parent!
